PARENT: "You're not going out dressed like that!"
YOU: "Well, it seems silly to stay in dressed like this."

FRIEND: "I'm not sure about that colour on you."
YOU: "Just as well. Pleasing you wasn't on the top of my priorities list when i bought it then."
